Zucker Bug Carousel

Zucker Bug Carousel
Imagine bugs so big you can ride them! Adjacent to our Butterfly Garden is a first-of-its-kind, fully accessible Bug Carousel. Your ticket will buy a true flight of fancy aboard a long-legged praying mantis, a bright green grasshopper, or another of your favorite creepy-crawlies.

Camel Rides
Saddle up and hop on a hump! Experience a very unique form of New York City transit when you ride a camel around Wild Asia Plaza.
Schedule: Opens at 11:00 a.m., weather permitting.
April & May, Sept. & Oct.: Weds–Sun
Memorial Day–Labor Day: Daily
Tickets: $5

Wild Asia Monorail
You’ll be convinced you’ve left the Bronx for the forests of Asia as you glide by elephants, rhinos, sambar deer, antelopes, and Indo-Chinese tigers roaming in open, outdoor habitats.
Schedule: April 26–November 2. Operates weather permitting.

Skyfari
Why walk when you can fly? Get a bird’s eye view of the zoo, and New York City, when you ride a cable car above Zoo grounds. Skyfari travels between Zoo Center and Wild Asia.
Schedule: March 22–November 2
Tickets: $3*

Zoo Shuttle
Rest your tired feet and take an express ride around the Zoo. Our trolley travels between Wild Asia and Zoo Center. Your ticket buys unlimited rides all day; ride is free for seniors.

*Note: The Pay-One-Price Pass, available from April to October, provides sevenadmissions to any of our rides and attractions (excluding camel rides) at one low price.
