Professional Development at the Zoos and Aquarium
The Education Division of WCS offers a wide range of professional development opportunities for teachers. Teacher courses are held at the Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium, Central Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and Prospect Park Zoo. WCS courses for teachers of grades Kâ12 help bring a new dimension to your lessons, whether you teach science, math, language arts, or anything in between! For those registering for General Science in Childhood and Middle Childhood Education, your cost will include Brooklyn College registration fee and tuition and an additional $120 materials fee, payable to the Bronx Zoo.

Cancellation Policy
Individuals who wish to cancel their registration must notify the Education Department in writing. Cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made 2â4 weeks before the start date of the class will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. There are no refunds for cancellations/withdrawals less than 2 weeks before the start date of the course.
