BronxZoo.com earns a Silver Award in the 2008 W3 Website Competition

We won an award! BronxZoo.com took Silver in the 2008 W3 Awards honoring creative excellence on the web. Winning entries were selected by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an organization of leading professionals dedicated to the evolving nature of media. Website entries were judged on creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design, and ease of use.

BronxZoo.com provides an intimate look into the lives of some 4,000 animal residents and connects visitors with their caretakers at the Zoo and their kin in the wild. The new website features photo and video archives, the podcast series Untold Tails from the Bronx Zoo, and educational resources for students and teachers. Wildlife enthusiasts can read updates on WCS fieldwork across the planet and learn simple tips to make a difference for wildlife.
