The Central Park Zoo knows a birthday is one of the most special days of a child's life. What better way to celebrate the little animal lover in your life than by hosting an unforgettable party, filled with animals, fun, and exclusive experiences to treasure forever?

When you celebrate your child at the Central Park Zoo you know you'll get the highest quality food, fun and entertainment. Whether tossing a fish to our sea lions, playing zookeeper and making lunch for the snow monkeys, or getting to meet one of our Central Park penguins, your child will experience the zoo as never before, and have a birthday to remember for many years to come.

Our parties are complete zoo experiences, with every detail covered by our dedicated staff. Because we want you to have fun, too! Select from one of the following party options:

Ages 6-12
A drop off party

Your 2-hour party includes:

• Themed invitations, room decorations and three party hosts
• Private party room for activities and food
• Costumed character to welcome your guests
• Educational animal encounters
• Wildlife Theater performance
• Special zookeeper encounter
• Guests make treats for the zoo animals
• Cupcake decorating bar
• Kid-friendly fare
• Goody bags designed by the Zootique
  

Fee: $5000 for up to 20 children and 5 adults

Ages 2-12 with adults

This 2 hour party includes all of the above plus:

• Adult guests
• Birthday child feeds a sea lion
• A small section of a zoo exhibit will be private for your guests
• A themed birthday cake
• Mimosas and sophisticated fare for adults
• A larger gift bag designed by the Zootique

Fee: $8000 for up to 40 guests

Ages 2-12 with adults

This 3-hour party includes all of the above plus:

• The birthday child will experience a special penguin encounter and the penguin exhibit will be private for your guests.
• Food served in the Snow Leopard Pavilion, which will be private for your guests only.
• Five-minute video of party highlights
• An exotic animal encounter
• An extra hour for zoo fun!
• Top of the line gift bags designed by the Zootique

Fee: $12,000 for up to 50 guests

A 20 person adult party for the true animal lover.

The 2 hour adult party includes:

• Birthday person feeds a sea lion
• Penguin meet and greet
• Exotic animal encounters
• Full buffet, appetizers, custom cake & mimosas or sangria
• Tour of zoo for all party participants
• 4-d theater showing "ICE WORLDS"
• Private party room, elegant decorations & 3 party hosts
• email invitation personalized and sent by zoo staff
• All guest receive a hat or tee-shirt as a special gift

Fee: $6,000 for up to 20 guests

All activities are tailored to your child's age.

Meet The Animals
(2-4 years old)
Perfect for the youngest zoo lover. A special visit to the barnyard will give the birthday guests a chance to feed the animals.

Party with the Polar Bear!
(2-12)
This party focuses on everyone's favorite polar bear Gus. Guest will make special treats for Gus and watch him enjoy the surprises.

Rainforest Adventure
(5-12)
This party focuses on our fantastic Tropic Zone exhibit. Guest will make treats for our mongoose and tropical birds and then have some private time up in the canopy balcony to watch the fun.

Jr. Keepers
(8-12)
This party is perfect for the older zoo lover. Extra hands on activities and experiments, including a chance to talk with some of our wonderful zoo keepers. Non stop animal fun.

King/Queen Penguin*
(2-12)
Private time in the penguin house is in store for you and your guest at for this party. Surprises in store, a close encounter with a penguin, need we say more?
