Carriage Rides

Horse-drawn Carriage Rides

Nov 7 - Dec 27

Beloved Clydesdale horses Ranger, Jesse, and Monty will take guests on festive wagon rides around the zoo, Saturdays & Sundays throughout the holiday season. Winter activities continue in December with ice carving, reindeer, and presents to the animals.

Tiger

Tiger

Revered for its beauty and vitality, the tiger is a symbol of strength throughout Asia. Tigers are the largest of the five species of big cats. The other four species are the lion, leopard, jaguar, and snow leopard. The Bronx Zoo has two subspecies of this striped cat on exhibit: the Amur (Siberian) tiger and the Malayan tiger.

Bee-eater Buffet

Bee-Eater Buffet

Our acrobatic white-throated bee-eaters hunt live crickets on the wing during the daily feeding at 2:45 p.m. in the World of Birds. Watch their amazing aerial tricks and ask a zookeeper your questions about birds.
