Communicating Climate Change

Climate Change is a daunting topic to cover but one of the most important of our time. This course is designed for elementary teachers to better understand climate change and how to incorporate climate literacy into your classroom. What is it? How do we talk about it? How does it impact communities differently? And what can we do about it? Join us online and earn CTLE hours while gaining tools for bringing climate advocacy to your students.

Daniel is passionate about creating a culture of high-quality, student-centered science education in New York City. As a former middle school science and high school chemistry teacher, Daniel is committed to providing professional development opportunities that are meaningful and applicable for teachers working in a variety of grade levels and settings. His goal as a Coordinator for Professional Development at the Wildlife Conservation society is to help teachers bring science to life for their students using resources available right here in New York City.
