Birthday parties at Queens Zoo combine festive activities and arts and crafts with live animal encounters and zoo visits! Choose a fun party theme and celebrate in our spacious party room, located in the Wild Room near the Sea Lion exhibit.
To help make sure your youngster enjoys their day, your party will be hosted by a zoo educator who can take care of all your party needs. There are two party size options. Each party package is two hours and includes goody bags for the children, a craft project, an animal encounter, a present for the birthday child, as well as zoo admission.
Guests will supply the cake, juice, paper goods, and utensils.
There is a home-size refrigerator available.
Up to 25 participants (children & adults
total combined in the party room): $525 for WCS members; $575 for non-members
Up to 36 participants (children & adults total combined in the party room): $625 for WCS members; $675 for non-members
Please note the Maximum Room capacity is 50 people. Additional party guests will be charged $15 each.
Dates & Times
Saturdays and Sundays, 10:30 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
Parties last for 2 hours.
Party host family should arrive at the Zoo 30 minutes prior to the party.

Yellow, red, green or blue? What colors do you see at the zoo? Come and discover all the colorful animals the Queens Zoo has to offer. Explore different reasons animals are colorful. Children will even create a colorful accessory to take home with them!
Animal Movement Madness
Let’s move our tail feathers! In this party, explore different ways that animals move. Gallop to the farm side to see animals hop, walk and run! Children will also create a wiggly critter to take home.
Let’s explore how animals adapt to their habitats! Your child will discover the wild world of animal adaptations by exploring the Queens Zoo! Discover why some animals have fur, while others do not. Children will also take home an animal habitat of their own!
Amazing Zoo Race
Have your child take part in this fun-filled zoo race! This birthday party program will have kids work together on animal-themed crafts and riddles. Teams will head out into the zoo for a scavenger hunt. Be the first team to reach the goal to receive a special prize!
