Classroom Activities

These preparatory and post-visit activities help your students make the most of their day at the zoo or aquarium. Supplementary materials are available for a variety of ages, including Lumpy, Bumpy, Scratchy, Smooth for grades K–3 and Animal Architects for grades 6–8.

Online Interactive Activities for the Classroom

Our online activities use interactive games to reinforce science concepts. By incorporating these games into your lesson plans, you'll add a new dimension to your classroom.

Visit the WCS YouTube page to connect with critters from our five New York City facilities. Through these videos, your students can also meet some of the people who care for the animals and hear from our wildlife conservationists located around the world.
