Adapted to Survive
- Grades: K-2nd
- Time: 60 minutes
- Fee: $200 / $150 Early Bird
What do animals need to survive? Food, water, and shelter of course. How do animals meet these basic needs? By using their adaptations! In this program, your students will learn about the adaptations of different animals and how these adaptations allow them to survive in a variety of habitats. Your students will meet and observe animals up close in a zoo classroom, make connections about how adaptations relate to an animal's habitat, and investigate animals putting their adaptations to use in a zoo exhibit.
