Dr. Zoolittle's Health Center
- Grades: Pre-K - 2nd
- Time: 60 minutes
- Fee: $200 / $150 Early Bird
During this hands-on program, our knowledgeable educators will help your students learn how zoo veterinarians care for the health of animals. Your students will build empathy and social skills by engaging in imaginary play as they use a variety of veterinary tools to provide check-ups for our plush animals. An encounter with a live animal in one of our zoo classrooms will help your students make connections between how they stay healthy and how zoo animals stay healthy. Your students will also practice their scientific observation skills by closely observing animals in an exhibit, just like our zookeepers do!
This program was co-developed with our Teacher Advisory Council.
