Africa’s flagship species – elephants, lions, primates, zebra, cheetahs - are some of the most charismatic megafauna on earth. Our guest, Dr. Tim Davenport, WCS Director of Species Conservation & Science (Africa), has worked on conservation projects for many of these species such as designating new reserves on behalf of a species of monkey that he discovered to documenting wildlife corridors in Tanzania. Recently, his team successfully relocated zebra to Kitulo National Park to restore its natural ecology. In celebration of International Zebra Day, join this discussion to understand the connections between charismatic species and wildlife conservation.
