All Rangers will be expected to:
- Meet and establish good rapport and communication with guests
- Communicate effectively with both adults and children in group and individual settings
- Build excitement among guests throughout the experience
- Demonstrate good safety habits by properly wearing safety gear and demonstrating proper techniques and behavior
- Handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Handle multiple tasks quickly and be creative and motivated
- Have a great attention to detail to ensure safety and positive guest experience
- Work comfortably at heights

Qualification Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Must be over 18 years of age at time of Orientation
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Must meet and maintain Treetop Adventure’s participants physical requirements
- Prior experience with outdoor recreation, athletics, educational roles, high ropes experience, interpretive naturalism, and/or rock climbing is a plus but not required
- Certification in basic First Aid, CPR, and AED a plus but not required
- Must pass and complete required site-specific safety training courses
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general instructions, and safety procedures
- Ability to write reports and complete logs
- Ability to verbally respond to questions from managers and guests
Physical Demands:
- Have the physical capability to assist and accommodate guests of various sizes and physical ability throughout the grounds and courses
- Be able to walk on a variety of on and off road surfaces
- Possess full range of overhead arm motions
- Have full hand dexterity
- Have strong upper body skills and be able to pull self and the potential addition of 275 lbs.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
