Schedule: Must be able to work 2-5 days per week including weekends and holidays. Schedule varies and subject to change through the spring and summer.

Group Sales Associate

Essential duties may include:

  • Processing advance bookings and ticket sales for all parks
  • Ensuring that customers are aware of the full range of products available at the individual parks, including special offers
  • Supporting the sales strategy by assisting with outbound calls and telemarketing
  • Answer incoming Group Sales telephone lines for the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Zoos and Aquarium.

Group Sales Administrative Associate

Essential duties may include:

  • Process payments and ensure that Group Sales orders are accurately fulfilled.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the department runs smoothly.
  • Assist in the fulfillment of all group reservations as needed.
  • Responsible for optimizing sales at Group Admissions Window.

Guest Relations Representative

Essential duties may include:

  • Providing superior service to guests before, during and after their visit via phone, in person, and email correspondence.
  • Operating a multi-line phone system; answering, transferring, logging calls
  • Be knowledgeable on real-time park information (openings/closures, guest events), and support resolution for guest inquiries and resolution for guest complaints or on-site concerns

Qualification Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including a clear, friendly phone voice
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
  • Must possess a professional and positive attitude, and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Word and Excel a must, PowerPoint a plus. Knowledge of Gateway Ticketing System a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Must be flexible & available to work weekends, holidays & extended hour
