There are plenty of things to love about the fall. The beautiful colors make almost any outing an instagram-able moment. The Bronx Zoo is no different. In fact, we think the combo of the fall foliage and our camera ready animals make it one of the best places to practices your photog skills this season.

There's so many picture worthy parts of African Plains we couldn't choose just one. If you ask us, the nayala and zebra are particularly striking. Maybe it's something about the stripes, but these two animals always seem to pose just right.
The troupe of gelada baboons is incredibly active especially now with a few youngsters in the mix. If you find them in a calm moment try and get a group shot. Although we're also partial to any photo that shows off their incredible hair.
On a good day, you'll watch this group of bears chasing each other over the rocks, surrounded by colorful leaves. On a great day, you'll catch them chowing down on the aforementioned foliage.
The heart of the park since 1908, Zoo Center was constructed to look like a palace. That's never more apparent than when it's framed by reds, oranges, and yellows.
No surprise here. Flamingos are always one of the most colorful stops at the zoo. But this group, behind the Dancing Crane Cafe, makes an unusual fall photo.
