Leaping for Leap Day
February 29, 2016
Once every four years we get an extra 24 hours to make the most of. How are you going to make the most of leap day? For some of our animals, it means even more time to run, jump, and of course, leap. Check out a few of our favorites that were caught on camera.
1. Snow leopards are made for leaping. They can jump over 30 feet using their long tails for balance.

2. Leapin' lemurs sure are a sight to see, and our collared lemurs in Madagascar! are no exception.

3. You can catch our sea lions leaping during one of their daily feedings on Astor court.

4. Watching the ring-tailed lemurs jump around the trees in Madagascar! is a real treat, and a great way to spend some extra time.
