Halloween is coming! It's one of our favorite holidays, which is why we celebrate it all October long with Boo at the Zoo. This year, we've added a haunted forest, a spooky hayride, and Bootoberfest. Don't miss it.

No costume? We've rounded up some inspiration for you: five of our favorite costume ideas from the animal kingdom. You're welcome to come show off your good looks sans costume, as well. Check it out and plan a trip!

Tiger

No two tigers have the same stripe pattern, which is another reason they're so striking. Take a tip from these cats and strut your stuff this Halloween.

Peacock

If you replicate these feathers you're sure to have the most colorful costume at the party. In the animal kingdom only male peafowl sport the signature look, but we don't discriminate.

Tapir

Want a costume sure to get noticed? Dress up like a tapir! Their prehensile nose is sure to garner attention, if you can pull it off.

Okapi

Are you a zebra? A horse? A giraffe? You'll keep the party guessing all night thanks to the wonderfully weird okapi.

Bat

It's not a Halloween party without a few staple species, like bats! We think these flying mammals get a bad rap and they're actually quite cute. Don a pair of wings and prepare to do some serious listening.
