Animals and Art: Maker Space

Unleash your inner artist amidst the wonders of the wild with Animals and Art, an innovative educational program nestled within the heart of the Bronx Zoo. Designed as a vibrant maker space for adults, this immersive experience invites you to explore the beauty of nature through the lens of artistry.

WFZ: Work From Zoo

Switch up your WFH view at the zoo! Work or study remotely in one of our private classroom spaces. Take a coffee break, hang out with an animal ambassador, and savor a refreshing walk through our 265 acre city oasis. Transform your work day into a wild adventure!

Free WiFi, light snacks and coffee provided. Bring your own lunch, visit the Dancing Crane Cafe, or order a boxed lunch in advance during registration. Please note this is an open workspace and not optimal for virtual meetings or phone calls. Ticket includes full admission. Parking included. Caregiver tip: If you have a school-aged child at home, consider dropping them off at the zoo for school break camp on the same day!

Roach Romance

Looking for a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Bring your Valentine to the Zoo and spend the evening sampling sustainably grown chocolate at this exclusive after-hours program. Learn about the importance of insects in the production of chocolate—from cocoa pollination to soil health maintenance—and about the work of WCS with cocoa farmers around the world. You will also get an up close introduction to some ambassador animals that are species these projects help protect!

Price is per couple. Price includes full admission to the zoo, parking, and wine and chocolate.

Conservation Conversations Lunch & Learn: Illegal Trade

Dive into the complex world of illegal wildlife trade with two experts shedding light on this critical topic. Join us over lunch to learn about the Bronx Zoo's efforts in combating this crisis, and through discourse explore the challenges of poaching and trafficking, and the vital role of education and advocacy. Bring your own lunch or add on a boxed lunch during registration.

Migratory Bird Day Outing

Take your bird watching game to new heights! Join us for early access to the zoo grounds and search for migratory birds with our expert guides. We will also explore the World of Birds exhibit to see our avian collection. We will discover the threats these birds face in the wild and learn about the Wildlife Conservation Society’s efforts towards conserving birds around the world.
