Our team in Mongolia has been partnering with goat herders in the Gobi to create a more equitable and lucrative sustainable cashmere marketplace. By educating herders and communities about the need for more sustainable practices, we are able to increase profits and decrease negative impact on the ecosystem. Conservation is an interdisciplinary field with work happening in all types of disciplines. Help your students understand just how much work goes into building community consensus to protect the planet.
