Available at the Bronx Zoo, Scavenger Hunts give you a new and exciting way to go on a self-guided adventure in our parks and observe our animals!
We have two themes to explore:

Ever wanted to be a keeper or a field scientist? In this self-guided scavenger hunt your group will explore the park, and along the way, try out some of the skills scientists and zoo keepers use. Wild Science is designed for groups of all ages to work together to complete this fun scavenger hunt.
Inspector Ranger Captain Doctor Zoo has a mystery for you to solve. Your group will explore exhibits, following a set of clues to solve the identity of the mystery animal together. This is a self-guided scavenger hunt designed for multi-generational learning fun.
Eating & Drinking: FOOD AND SHOPPING are available, but we expect changes in which locations will be open each day. Water bottle filling stations are open. Beverages are available for purchase from food and snack stands.
Maximum number of participants: Bronx Zoo Scavenger Hunts can accommodate a maximum of 35 children and 7 adults ( Children - Gen Ed:35, Inclusion: 35, SpEd: 12, Adults -max 7) Adults - max 7). Please plan adult supervision accordingly.
Ages: Bronx Zoo Scavenger Hunts are recommended for all ages.
Inclement weather:If WCS cancels the program due to inclement weather, we will work with you to find an acceptable date to reschedule. If no date can be found, we will refund your program fee.
*Failure to follow the Terms and Conditions may result in your program being cancelled. We will not reschedule or issue a refund for programs cancelled for failure to follow the above safety precautions.
