Bring the whole family to the Bronx Zoo! These fun educational experiences are for all ages. Together, you'll enjoy themed activities and meet a small ambassador animal up close.
Sensory Sensitive Mornings: Giraffes
In this sensory friendly program, get up close and personal with some animals that live in the savannah, explore the Carter Giraffe House before it opens to the public, and meet some animal visitors in a zoo classroom. Looking for more fun? Limited admission is included, so join us for a day at the zoo after your program!
Sensory bags are available for use. This program includes walking outside. All paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible. Prices are per person, each individual attending needs their own ticket.

Your morning just got wild with this special before-hours program! Your family will learn about tapirs through fun and engaging activities. After you meet an animal guest up close, our educators will guide you to the Jungle World exhibit to watch as our tapirs enjoy their exhibit and chat with a zookeeper that cares for them.
This program includes walking outside. All paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible. Prices are per person, each individual attending needs their own ticket.
