Discovery Girls

Are you a girl who is destined to be a science superhero? Sign up for this three-part series focusing on the many ways we put science, technology, engineering, and math skills to work for wildlife!

This all-girls nature experience will excite your curiosity while inspiring independence, confidence, and creativity! During this three-session outdoor series you will explore the natural world using scientific skills and tools. You will observe and study local wildlife along the Bronx River, documenting your findings in nature journals and through the creation of nature art, while learning about female scientists that do similar work. Participants will receive a nature kit to explore with each session.

This program is completely outdoors and will include walking on uneven surfaces at the Mitsubishi River Walk.
