Think Global, Act Local: Conservation Behaviors

Conservation is a global issue with examples from around the world that demonstrate the ingenuity of how people tackle obstacles from different angles. In this workshop for CTLE hours, explore how our local actions impact global issues and engage in modeled learning activities that bring conservation into classrooms. With our pre-designed curricular resources, including WCS Presents Field Sight and WCS Conservation Heroes, teachers will learn how they can teach science standards while increasing their understanding of what motivates conservation behaviors.
