WFZ: Work from Zoo
Switch up your WFH view and join us at the zoo! Bring your laptop and enjoy a private classroom space with a stunning view of one of our exhibits. Take a coffee break, hang out with an animal ambassador, and savor a refreshing walk through our 265 acre city oasis. Free WiFi, light snacks and coffee provided—transform your workspace into a wild adventure! Note: this is an open workspace and not optimal for virtual meetings or phone calls. Bring your own lunch, or visit the Dancing Crane Cafe.
This is an open workspace (folks can use the workspace until 3pm). Perfect for the guardians of children in a 1 Day camp. They can stay at the zoo and get their work done while their child is in camp!

Breaking the Binary: Animal Edition
Join us as we explore the astonishing diversity of sexual behavior and biology found in nature. From banana slugs and clown fish to bottlenose dolphins and bonobos, discover the many ways animals break the binary in the wild! We will dig into the intricacies of reproductive systems and social dynamics while exploring an exhibit and meeting an animal ambassador up close in the classroom.

Migratory Bird Day Outing
Spice up your birding game for Migratory Bird Day! Join us for early access to the zoo grounds and search for migratory birds with our expert guides. We will also explore the World of Birds to see part of our avian collection, discover the threats these birds face in the wild, and learn about the Wildlife Conservation Society’s efforts towards conserving birds around the world. We’re excited to partner with NYC Bird Alliance for this program. NYC Bird Alliance works for the protection of wild birds and habitat across the city.
