WCS Conservation Heroes

Wildlife Conservation Society is a global organization working to protect wildlife and wild places. Conservation takes a lot of work and we need the expertise of all kinds of people. In order to be successful in our mission, we have staff working in disciplines ranging from art to veterinary medicine. However, for this work to continue, we need to foster future conservationists. One way to support the field is through engagement with students from a very young age, encouraging an appreciation and love of the natural world. WCS Education has been supporting this movement since the 1930’s and drawing on our expertise, we have created a curriculum to help students connect with careers in conservation.

If we showcase the breadth of work at WCS, Then we can support and inspire the next generation of conservationists.

In our effort to build the next generation of conservation leaders, we are showcasing the stories of a small selection of our staff from around the world. We hope students and youth will find new and exciting role models among them.
